Getting Started - Its all in the Ideas? or is it? Naw its all in your mind

The hardest part of starting a business in the beginning was getting past all the negatives! You find yourself with a glimmer of an idea and fancy your chances as the next best thing...

Boom your self talk kicks in … I've got no money? I don't have the right skills ? What will people think of me? What If I fail? I've recently found myself back here in this mindset even setting up this blog and I should know better! I have spoken to so many people who want to start their own business and in the nicest possible way are full of excuses. "Its not the right time" or "Its easy for you to do"

The most important things I learned were.. Just do It! No really …begin …start the process

Write it down!

Buy a notebook, and write every idea down. You will bring it into creation when you start to plan. Your ideas will develop …I'm doing things way differently from those first ideas but that's progress. I started with a list of things I didn't know that I thought i needed to know. I was developing that seed

Think positively

Even if you don't believe in manifestation … pretend you do!! It works I promise (Please request more info on this subject because its my favourite, I mean I prob will anyway). So think positive thoughts .. Mindset is key

Talk about it

Don't be afraid to talk to everyone about your idea! You will be surprised at how much encouragement you get from people . Beware of the soul crushers though who will try to deter you. Not everyone wants you to succeed, but you will see through it.

Surround yourself by like minded people ! "Show me your friends and I'll show you your future"

Believe !

If you focus on your plan you will make it happen. I'm not saying your not going to encounter problems but focus on the solution and keep moving forward. Just believe and push it

Money

The money will come! Now when I say this folk just roll their eyes.. someone said this to me about 4 years ago . The money will come so long as you get your mind into the right position. We will talk much more on this

Fear

Now this is the biggest and the baddest! You have to be ready for the mother fucking rollercoaster that is FEAR! Change, uncertainty, self doubt, criticisms and haters! They will come and they will come hard. Hold your fucking nerve! Fear is temporary and mindset is key

Freedom

Focus on the positives of what owning your own business will be like. Visualise a life of choices and freedom ... not overworking and stress! Create a vision board

Serve Others

Serving others is my purpose. I realised early on that I wanted to help people. My brand of LOVE is about quality and giving back ! you can do that in a multitude of ways through your brand and products. I promise it will come back to you 100 times over... after all social responsibility is good for business

So if your considering starting your own business, do one thing today! That might be dreaming up a name, and having fun with creativity. Draw your logo or pick a domain. Make a list of things you might need but just start! I promise your journey will begin
